SEAN HOLLORAN, a 6’4” 280 pound offensive lineman from Christian Brothers College High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play collegiate football at MISSOURI WESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY.

Holloran was a highly regarded player on a 2011 CBC team that went 10-0 in the regular season and advanced to the State Championship game. Holloran was named to the Post-Dispatch’s All Metro Team as a first teamer. He was one of just two CBC players to earn that distinction. He earned Second Team, All State honors and was named to the First Team, All Metro Catholic Conference Team.

“Sean has been a standout leader on the offensive line for three years, and he will be an asset to Missouri Western from the beginning. His brains and toughness are exactly what you look for in an offensive lineman,” CBC Football Coach SCOTT PINGEL said.

Holloran said that he was impressed with Missouri Western State. “The facilities and the football were amazing. The coaching staff and players made me feel at home.”

Holloran had several good choices available to him.
He had Missouri S&T, Washburn, Benedictine, and Lindenwood looking at him in the end.

Darrian Bass also will play football at Western?”

And, “Yes, D. Bass and I are going to be roommates, and it will be a great experience.”
